Article: A Cord of three strands is not easily broken; Kurt and Kimberly Bonne’ s Wedding

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh, so then they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.” Mark chapter 10v 7-9

Marriage is a blessing which many in our society nowadays wrongly interpret. It is a divinely ordained blessing and eternal covenant given to men by God.

On Saturday 26th December 2020, the members of the Everlasting Love Ministry (ELM) had the honour to witness the union blessing of Mr. Kurt & Mrs. Kimberly Bonne, whose wedding ceremony and reception took place in the beautiful, rustic, sandy setting of the Augerine guest house. Amidst beautifully decorated white and red decor, the couple said “I do” in the presence of God, their family, friends and church members.

Kurt and Kimberly had their civil wedding in 2016 and they have two beautiful daughters; Kheily, 7 years old and Khriss, 3 years old. Like most relationships, theirs has not been an exception. They had faced many challenges along the way but where there is love, a relationship never fails. Sometimes in life, we all need to be taught so we can make things right and this is their testimony! It is only because of Godly divine interventions that today they can share this blessing of a lifetime together … As the word of God declares, those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved and indeed God has preserved their relationship and marriage.

Kimberly, who was also a student of the Youth Ambassador course offered by the Everlasting Love Ministry had reasons for double celebration that evening as she clinched the award for Best Overall Student for 2020! She testified that the course has brought about a great impact in her life and contributed towarrds restoring her marriage. She never imagined that within few months, God would have brought her and husband back together and experience His grace. She noted that it only requires obedience and allowing God to step in and do what He needs to do.

Marriage is beautiful and as we put God in the centre of it, nothing will be impossible. And for you who are feeling hopeless and your marriage are reaching to the verge of dying, remember God can resurrect it. Just as He has done for Kurt and Kimberley, He can do it for you also.
